Our Position on Hosted Content

What a Valid Takedown Notice Must Contain
Identify Yourself Clearly
Provide your full legal name, postal address, telephone number and a working email address. If you are acting on behalf of a rights holder rather than as the owner, state the relationship and the authority under which you are writing.
Describe the Protected Work
Tell us exactly what is being infringed. A title alone is rarely enough — where possible include a registration number, a link to the official release, or a copy of the work so we can compare it against the material you are reporting.
Point Us to the Exact Location
Include the complete URL of every page on this website that you believe carries infringing material. Requests that reference the site as a whole, or that point to third-party servers we do not operate, cannot be actioned.
Include the Two Required Statements
State that you hold a good-faith belief the disputed use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law, and that the information in your notice is accurate. Confirm, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorised to act for the owner of the exclusive right involved.
Sign the Notice
Add your physical or electronic signature. An unsigned complaint is treated as incomplete and will be returned to you rather than processed.

What Happens After You Submit
Acknowledgement
Every complete notice receives a reply confirming receipt, normally within two business days. If your submission is missing something, that reply will explain precisely what we still need.
Review
We check the reported URLs against the details you supplied. Where a link on this site points to material you control, it is disabled while the review is still in progress rather than after it concludes.
Removal
Verified infringing links and references are removed from this website, generally within five business days of a valid notice. You will be told which URLs were affected.
Repeat Infringers
Where the same source is reported repeatedly and the reports are upheld, we stop linking to that source altogether rather than removing entries one at a time.
Filing a Counter-Notice
Mistakes happen, and material is occasionally removed in error. If content of yours was taken down and you believe the complaint was wrong or that your use was licensed or otherwise permitted, you may reply with a counter-notice.
A counter-notice needs your contact details, identification of the removed material and where it previously appeared, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith the removal resulted from a mistake or misidentification, and your signature. We forward valid counter-notices to the original complainant and may restore the material after the statutory waiting period unless court action is filed.
Knowingly filing a false claim of infringement, or a false counter-notice, carries legal liability. Please be certain of your rights before writing to us.
